Dessert is one of those things that unites us. It’s served at weddings, celebrations, showers, birthdays, at the end of a fancy dinner, or just because we survived a Tuesday.
I founded Ruby’s Bakehouse in 2013, after discovering my love of baking. I started with German Chocolate cake, moved to cupcakes, expanded my skills with decorated cookies, and now like to try my hand at even fancier and more complicated recipes.
I live in Indianapolis with my daughter, and when I’m not working my day job, you’ll often find me in the kitchen testing recipes or dreaming of new dessert ideas and flavors. I’m also a foster parent!
